Student Conduct at WSD
At WSD, we use a system of Achievement Points and Behaviour Points as a way of tracking the conduct of our students. If students to well in lessons (or in extra-curricular clubs) they are given Achievement Points. When they do something that breaks our rules, they are given a Behaviour Point. Together, these help us gather a picture about student conduct in our school.
Each half-term, we run competitions for our students to encourage them to 'Work Hard, Be Good' in there lessons - you can find out more informaton about these below. We also hold end of term 'Celebration Assemblies' in each Year Group to reward our students who have excelled in each subject they study.
WSD 7Cs
At WSD, as well as developing knowledge and understanding in each lesson, we also want students to develop across 7 competencies - we call these the 'WSD 7Cs'. Students can be awarded points each lesson when they display these different attributes and we do hold competitions for students to develop these further. More information can be found below.
