Student Led Conference 2021-2022
A Student Led Conference is a meeting between a student, their family and their tutor. The purpose of this meeting is for the student to be in charge of explaining his or her progress, reflecting on their accomplishments, as well as setting their own short-term and long-term goals.
During this meeting, students will share some of their best pieces of work, as well as some pieces of work they have created specifically for the SLC. In order to prepare for this meeting, students will create an ‘E-Portfolio’ that will contain their best work, as well as their reflections and future goals.
Please watch the video below to help you understand the purpose of a SLC, as well as what needs to go into your 'E-Portfolio'. You can also download a copy of the guidance notes and the template for the 'E-Portfolio' by clicking on these.
